Hajj: some practical tips for planning your trip

Whether it's Hajj preparation or any
other trip, you should always be careful not to be angry (or cold) with your
brothers and sisters, try to have no debt or borrowed property To others before
departure. So you can undertake Hajj in peace.
Try to learn by heart the invocations to be said in
each place and for each situation. Although we can have our little book of
invocations, it is still better to know them by heart in order to be more
focused and to take full advantage of the invocation.
Do not carry a lot of clothes to make your journey
easier.Indeed, it must not be forgotten that there it is very hot, even if one
is in winter. Prefer lightweight garments that do not hold warm. Choose
a pair of shoes in which you will be comfortable (why not sneakers for the
sisters) because there is a lot of walking, especially to go to the place
"Al-Djamarates" (stoning).
As the climate is different, try to have some
medicines for headaches, stomach, digestion, throat and runny nose, through
your doctor. You should know that there is air conditioning almost
everywhere and the temperature changes make many people sick. Although
only Allah heals, we must not disregard the means of healing we have at His
disposal.
You can take a few books with you, since you do not
always stay at the mosque. Do not hesitate to take books of invocations,
especially for the day of Arafah.
Try to have an alarm clock, because despite the Adhan ,
you may not be living next to the Masdjid Al Haram in Mecca. The buses of
the agency leave groups early in the morning, so it is better to plan. Anyway,
books and music players are especially useful for women who during periods of
menstruation can not get to the mosque ...
